We Help Workers With:
Security Guards
Security guards often work long shifts including extended hours at nights and on weekends. In most cases, the Fair Labor Standards Act requires employers to record all hours worked by security personnel and pay overtime wages for those hours at a rate of time and one-half their regular rate of pay.
Additionally, when working at a remote post, or driving from station to station, employers don’t keep track of all of the actual hours worked by security guards, and thus sometimes refuse to pay for time which was actually worked.
If you’ve worked in security services at any job within the past three (3) years, CONTACT US at the Shavitz Law Group, P.A. to learn more about your rights.
