Merchandisers

Merchandisers play an important roll in the supply chain of everyday goods that we all use by replenishing stock and providing merchandising support to retail and convenience stores. Whether an employee provides merchandising for beverages, packaged foods, baked goods, magazines & books, health and beauty aids, or some other product line, it is common for merchandisers to work long hours, covering routes and visiting stores to make sure product is available for sale.

What many employees don’t know, however, is that merchandisers are often entitled to be paid overtime wages when they work more than Forty (40) hours in a workweek – even when paid a salary or commissions.
